The ChangZheng 7, also known as the CZ-7 or Long March 7 in the West, is a space launch vehicle developed by China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT) and designed to carry heavyweight payloads onto Low Earth Orbit (LEO). The CZ-7 space rocket can lift a payload of up to 13.5 metric tons. The first launch was carried out in early 2016. The rocket is being used to place into orbit the Tianzhou class spacecraft. In November 2023, the rocket performed its fifth launch.
